It’s likely you’ve heard of the Boston Marathon Tragedy already. Three people have died and 150 have been injured, many of them very serious. In times like these, it’s important to set aside blame and come to the aid of those who need it the most, their religious or spiritual affiliation notwithstanding.
In that regard, the good people at We Are Atheism have reopened their Atheists Giving Aid drive. They’re collecting money to be donated to the victims of this awful situation. They collected donations in the wake of the Sandy Hook tragedy and managed to raise over $25,000 for the victims’ families.
So far, they’ve already raised nearly $19,000. You can monitor the success of the drive on their donation wall. The drive ends May 31st. Your donations are tax deductible.
Life isn’t about dwelling. Life is about moving on, escaping the awfulness that we are sometimes forced to endure in order to get to the happiness. Obviously, that doesn’t bring back those 3 lives, or console anyone who is short a limb today, but what else can we do? Help those who can be helped, and move on.

You can safely give us your money and know that we attach no religious messages or dogmas to it. We just want to help.
That’s how to be a good human.
